The Action Taker
In this video, I explore the Action Taker archetype, traditionally known as the Warrior.
This is the part of us where our power and agency lie. It’s the side of us that can step up and take the action needed to achieve our goals, speak our truth even when it risks disapproval, and protect and defend what matters most.
Our Action Taker has integrity. It is trustworthy. It lives in service to the Heart-Centred Leader, carrying out the vision and desires of the heart with courage and strength.
Anger is not the problem, it’s the key that unlocks this archetype. When we can move through it safely, without hurting ourselves or others, we reconnect with our strength.
At its core, the healed Action Taker knows:
You matter. You exist. You are important.
We explore:
• The Yin and Yang aspects of the Action Taker
• Yang: growth, expansion, stepping forward, pursuing goals
• Yin: protection, defending boundaries, guarding what’s within (like a lion protecting her cub)
• The territorial instinct: claiming, marking and protecting our space
• The gateway emotion of anger, not as rage, but as a warning signal that our boundaries are being crossed
• How inflations and deflations stem from the same wounds and how this shows up (aggression, competitiveness, workaholism, cruelty, rage, or on the other side, passivity, victimhood, no boundaries, flakiness and passive aggression)
• The core wounding message: “You don’t exist.”
• The healing message: “You matter. I see you.”
• How we use anger safely in Shadow Work sessions to help you set boundaries and reclaim your power and agency
This is power with integrity. Not cruelty, or collapse, but grounded agency, clear boundaries and courageous action and unlocked through anger. Healed through the knowing that you matter.
