The shadow is part of us that we don’t really know it’s it’s part of us that we’re not really in control of.
We may be very frightened of these sides of ourselves or we may feel very ashamed of them. These sides of us can sometimes be totally out of our conscious knowledge, yet we can be very aware of the impact that they have on us, as they rule our lives from behind the scenes.

We don’t really know these parts of ourselves so how can we get an idea of what we might have in shadow?
As these shadow parts of us are slightly out of range, we don’t really know that they’re there. If you want to explore this, there is a little bit of detective work that you can do to try to find out what might be in shadow for you.

Shadow Work isn’t about eliminating parts of yourself, it’s about reclaiming them. The traits you once hid for safety hold vital inner resources. At the centre of every shadow is gold. Through healing and conscious integration, you gain choice, wholeness, and access to the strengths you once believed were unsafe to express.

Shadow Work sessions offer a powerful, guided exploration of your inner world. Through a structured process, you’ll identify and embody different parts of yourself, understand how they interact, and consciously create change. Whether in a private session or workshop, the aim is integration, clarity, and lasting transformation.

Your sense of safety is incredibly important to me and I’ll prioritise this in a number of ways.
Firstly, it’s important that nothing is unspoken within the room and within our connection so I’ll share my ideas and the Healing the Shadow beliefs with you to ensure they aren’t unduly influencing you.
Secondly, I’ll make sure that the process is directed by you and not guided by any external agenda - conscious or not.
Every step of your process is guided and chose by you

I wanted to introduce you to the different archetypes that I work with. I work with archetypes as we all need a way of understanding the aspects of ourselves that we are born with.
There’s the Heart-Centred Leader, the Action Taker, the Transformer, and the Feeling Body to help us understand the different parts of ourselves, each unlocked by a core emotion and governed by our innate animal instincts.

The Heart-Centred Leader, also known as the Sovereign, leads with warmth, vision and integrity. Rooted in joy and the knowing that we are good enough just as we are, this archetype balances bold leadership with nurturing care, teaching us to ask clearly, love fully and lead without performance.

The Action Taker, traditionally known as the Warrior, is the part of us where power and agency live. Activated through healthy anger, it helps us set boundaries, speak our truth and take courageous action. When balanced, it protects what matters and knows: you exist and you matter.

The Transformer is the part of you that can step back, see clearly and create change. Rooted in intellect and perspective, this archetype helps you find the gold within fear, shift entrenched patterns and experience true transformation, not by removing pain, but by turning it into power.

The Feeling Body, traditionally known as the Lover, is the part of you that longs to connect, belong and feel. Rooted in vulnerability and unlocked through grief, this archetype governs intimacy, creativity and bonding. When wounded, it inflates into drama or deflates into disconnection. When healed, it knows: you are lovable.
